Oblique House / Elgiva Field
Most recently Elgiva worked as Assistant Director on Punch drunk's The Masque of the Red Death and directed the London revival of Was He Anyone? by N.F.Simpson. She has worked extensively with new writing and has directed the premieres of The Container by Clare Bayley (regional tour), Reasons to Settle for Less for the Miniaturists (Arcola) and with her company Oblique House, Faultlines (Union Theatre) and The Time Of The Tortoise (Theatre 503). Other directing credits include: Indigenous People (Union Theatre), William And Mary (Talkback Thames), What Happened Last Night (Pleasance London), The Emperor’s New Clothes (C Theatre Edinburgh), Ted And Ralph (The Rosemary Branch). Elgiva also directs BAC Young Peoples’ Theatre productions, including assisting, Alex Murdoch (Cartoon de Salvo), Christopher Heinman (The Imaginary Body) and Punchdrunk.
